One World Rental started in London about a decade ago with just 10 devices. This weekend the company has just acquired its 10,000th device.

The company now offers a range of IT equipment from iPads to iMacs, mobiles, Audio-Visual and virtual reality kit. Any, or all of it, can be loaned to any event, anywhere on earth, from Eastbourne to Egypt and everywhere in between.

“While we don’t envy our inventory specialists, keeping track of every piece of kit somewhere on this planet, we get a little teary-eyed at some of the on-location snaps coming in throughout the world on our global WhatsApp feed,” says Mike Day, Head of the Asia Pacific offices at One World Rental.

Global event IT rental.

To meet client demand, One World Rental has opened 9 offices around the world. These are in: Belgium, Switzerland, Scotland, Egypt, Singapore, Australia, USA, Egypt and Dubai.

It has broadened its range of client services to include technical event staffing and Wi-Fi specialists that can put internet on a desert caravan, or for a remote festival, using satellite, hardline, personalised bonded internet, or any combination of the above to achieve connection. One World Rental can do this with or without the existing infrastructure to support it.

Long-term event relationship management.

One World Rental now has over 4,000 corporate clients including corporate partnerships. The company has expanded into bespoke software such as event check-in apps and custom branded menu-building. Hardware, software, technical staff, project management, even travel are booked into events to make them happen successfully.

Kashif Din, CEO of One World Rental, says: “Corporate partnership relationship management can be summed up like this: they say jump, we say how high?”

“And just in terms of physical kit, rented out globally at this time, our numbers hit 10,000 this weekend, and we can’t quite believe it. Not bad for an IT company that started with 10 new iPads.”

IT rental equipment that goes ‘above and beyond’; literally.

One of ways we’ve made ourselves useful to the event industry is to include locations that other IT rental and event management companies won’t touch, due to a bit of additional customs protocol and security.  But our motto is to go ‘above and beyond’ and this includes global deliveries in Seoul, Panama, Moscow, Kazakhstan, and the Ivory Coast, among others. Need laptops in Papa New Guinea? We’ve been there. Wi-Fi in Cairo? We’re not even breaking a sweat.
